Monday April 4th

Honors: We are currently within our lit circle unit with the choice Non-Fiction Books. You all seem to be enjoying your books and learning about new topics such as alchoholism, the love of a pet, brain power, sports, Holocaust, epidemics, and 1919 World Series. Due date of discussion log book: April 15th

CP2: Part 2 of the RJ exam in today, the 4th. Then, we will move on to a small Margaret Atwood unit of poetry this week.

CP1: Great Job on your Atwood poem Socratic Seminar!

Period 6: We are reading A Separate Peace instead of the Pearl. In my humble opinion, it is much more interesting, although the Pearl has many redeeming literary qualities. Keep up with the chapter discussion questions to be able to participate in class!

Period 7: We began 5 People You Meet in Heaven last week! There will be homework nearly every night, mainly in the form of reading. Keep up with this book, as it is quite an easy and high interest read! This is a great opportunity to get 4the term to a great start.
