I'm Baaaaaaack!

Hello Freshman Yellow Team Students and Parents!

I returned to PSHS on Monday October 27th and am ready to begin blogging major assignments and updates about curriculum.

All students are required to write a recap of each day's lesson according the the guidelines they received. I will post the directions when I can figure out the technology to do that! Every Friday two freewrites are due in the same logbook as the recaps. This will be the majority of classwork and homework. Other homework will consist of reading from out texts and the writing process for formal writing assignments.

Honors: We are reading 2 connecting pieces of literature: The Scarlet Ibis (short story) and A Separate Peace (novel). When we begin the novel there will always be nightly reading. Always!

CP 1 and 2: We are beginning a short story unit this week. Reading will be minimal at home, as the stories are in the classroom anthologies. There may be one or two stories we read at home. Homework will be mainly the recaps and freewrites as well as some work based on the short stories.
